A 'mouse merged with keyboard' is a nonsensical product for a non-existent problem.

The idea
This 'mouse merged with keyboard' idea is so bad, it makes me want to physically merge my brain with a brick wall. Save yourself.

A mouse merged with keyboard
The roast
What in the name of ergonomic nightmares is this? You've taken two distinct input devices, essential for different types of interaction, and fused them into a single, presumably awkward, monstrosity. This isn't innovation; it's a solution in search of a problem, and a deeply unpleasant one at that. Who actually wants to move their mouse cursor while simultaneously typing, in a way that a normal keyboard and mouse setup doesn't already facilitate infinitely better? The only thing this will achieve is frustrated users and a cluttered desk, all thanks to a fundamental misunderstanding of user interface design. Furthermore, the execution plausibility is laughable. Imagine the engineering challenges just to make this physically coherent, let alone usable. And for what? So someone can awkwardly mash their hand across their desk to access a misplaced 'Ctrl' key? The market for this is likely zero, the differentiation is negative (it's worse than existing solutions), and the timing is actively terrible because everyone is moving towards more streamlined, intuitive interfaces, not less.
Red flags
- No discernible problem being solved
- Fundamentally flawed product concept
- Lack of understanding of user interaction and ergonomics
