About
Superlog is an open-source agentic telemetry system. It
ingests traces, logs, and metrics, groups noisy signals into incidents, and watches your infra while you sleep.
Installation
You can install Superlog in your project by using our skills in your favourite coding agent:
Run npx skills add superloglabs/skills --all and use the skills to install Superlog in this project
What is Superlog?
Superlog is an open-core observability workspace for OpenTelemetry data. It
ingests traces, logs, and metrics, groups noisy signals into incidents, and gives
teams a local-first product surface for debugging production systems.
This repository contains the fully open-source, free community edition:
Web app and API
OTLP ingest proxy
Worker processes for incident grouping and background jobs
Postgres schema and ClickHouse-backed telemetry queries
Agent runner interfaces for pluggable investigation runtimes
A default community agent runner that records a local incident summary
We also provide a hosted Superlog Cloud edition with a free tier, a pay-to-go plan and monthly credit packs.

The roast
Superlog's promise of AI-driven self-healing and robust open-source architecture is commendable, but you're battling entrenched players with far more resources. Your biggest challenge isn't technology—it's convincing enterprises to switch to an unproven platform given your 'biggest unknown: will_pay' (q15). The hosted cloud edition's monetization strategy is clear, but your standard pricing model (q9) lacks the aggressive differentiation needed to pull users from established giants.
Your reliance on a 'community' moat (q11) is risky; it's notoriously difficult to build and maintain a thriving developer community, especially against well-funded incumbents. The open-source angle (q12) can attract some attention, but enterprise buyers (q4) often prioritize stability and support over cost. Your 'speed' moat (q11) is also questionable—speed alone rarely wins in a market filled with similarly fast players.
Red flags
- Overcrowded market with well-funded incumbents
- Unclear if enterprises will pay for a new, unproven solution
- Community-building is harder than it looks
Verdict
Superlog has potential but must overcome significant market and adoption barriers.
